My preferred method of payment is by internet bank transfer. I do not take credit cards. PayPal payments attract 4% premium so that I recover their charges to me.
I SHALL BE ATTENDING THE YORK FAIR ON FRIDAY/SATURDAY 15TH/16TH JANUARY AND HOPE THAT THOSE PLANNING TO ATTEND ARE NOT PUT OFF BY THE DEMINISHING POSSIBILTY OF BAD WEATHER.
I AM IN THE PROCESS OF LOADING NEW ITEMS ONTO THE SITE, ALTHOUGH SUPPORTING PHOTOGRAPHS MAY BE DELAYED UNTIL AFTER MY RETURN.
I regret if emails from any of you have not been answered. During my two week break I occasionally used the ship's very slow internet connection to find my email in-box was full, mainly of junk, and it was painstakingly slow, not to say extemely expensive, to delete spam and other unwanted messages and try to reply to serious enquiries. So, if I have not answered queries please re-submit of itmes are still of interest.
I shall be in a different position at the MIDLAND FAIR in future. My request for a bigger table was granted, but I have been moved from just inside the entrance door to the back wall, I think.
PRICING POLICY. I am sometimes asked to discount Web prices, and generally have to disappoint. The prices shown on the site ARE the prices I want or require for pieces. The web prices are already, generally, set at the discounted price I would give at a fair. The fairs ticket price is set so that I can give a discount to buyers and the web price IS the discounted price, so that web buyers are not at a disadvantage.
The site has been designed with care and thought to try and ensure that it is as user friendly as possible. If you spot a problem, or simply want to comment, I shall be pleased to hear from you.
I shall be at all 2010 London Coin Fairs and have booked for all Midland and both York fairs for 2010. I do not attend Wakefield or Harrogate fairs.
As always, I urgently seek fresh stock. Please contact me if you have a collection or accumulation for sale. Immediate payment - no waiting for 2 or more months after submitting your coins to an auction house and waiting a month after sale to receive around 80% of the hammer price! Keen to buy choice, quality and rare items.
I am eager to buy new milled stock, Cromwell to 1936, maundy to date, including full maundy presentation sets. I will travel any distance to view appropriate collectons or accumulations and would be pleased to receive any enquiries.

Subject to which browser you are using , having clicked on 'View Larger Image' you will either have to scroll down to view the next image[s], or click on 'See second imagine'. Where necessary a third photograph will be available for overstrikes and the like.

Questions and orders can be by email via the obvious links on the site, my preferred method unless there is some urgency, or by telephone [24 hour answering machine] or fax on 01992 719723. There may be a delay in answering questions as most coins are banked, a sensible and necessary inconvenience I regret, but hopefully the quality of the photographs will restrict questions to a minimum. As coins are banked there will almost certainly be a delay of at least 24 hours before mailing after orders are received .
Of course all coins are supplied on approval, against payment if you are not known to me. I shall accept payment by PayPal, but regret that I must ask for an additional 4% of the total payable to meet PayPal charges. If PayPal charges were split evenly between buyer and seller, 2% each, I wonder what percentage of buyers would chose to pay by cheque ?.

As a matter of interest, the William and Mary piece shown in the web site heading is an example of a second heads 'maundy' fourpence, a choice piece from my collection, which is not for sale.
