1692, HALF GUINEA, elephant below, GVF, some haymarking on the reverse and evidence under magnification of clashed die in the reverse. Some very light contact marks under magnification. A very thin, feint scratch from the 'R' of 'GRATIA' to William's chin, but this emphasised by the camera in the enlarged photograph and not picked up by the naked eye. Yellow gold with a little peripheral red gold. Not as rich in colour as the photographs, the piece is yellow gold.
